Waverley Western Villages is a great Division to represent, and it’s been a privilege to serve you for the past eight years.
Over the last eight years I have made it a priority to understand local concerns by attending around 600 parish council, community and parish meetings. I have also given help and advice to individual constituents on a wide range of problems, including school allocations, public transport, traffic issues, quarries and recycling centres.
I have campaigned for road schemes to improve safety, and worked to ensure Regional funding for the Hindhead Tunnel.
I have arranged grants totalling over £100,000 to a number of local organisations, to support new leisure and recreational facilities as well as village improvements.
I recognise that Council Tax is your money, and each year I work to keep it as low as possible while maintaining key services.
