Runnymede & Weybridge MP Philip Hammond took time from his busy schedule to visit County Hall today to meet with Surrey County Council Leader David Hodge and Deputy Leader Peter Martin.
Weybridge was part of the Olympic cycling route and has recently hosted part of the Ride London Surrey Classic, whilst Runnymede will be the centre of the world's attention in 2015 for the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta.
David said 'We are always delighted to welcome Philip to County Hall. It gives us an opportunity to catch up and to discuss the key issues and challenges facing the County, and find solutions together.'
